Weight loss for geeks. A spectre is haunting Kuro5hin: the spectre of obesity. A look at the diary section reveals that regular K5ers are enormous, bloated fat behemoths, barely capable of reaching their keyboards over their gurgling, grossly distended, sweat-oozing bellies [links omitted to protect the guilty]. But do not despair! Geeks can lose weight. CAD coder and CEO John Walker has created a Hacker’s Diet especially for you! It’s available online, and downloadable as a zipped PDF or even a gzip postscript file. You can even download computer-based tools for Palm and Excel. Too lazy for that? Kuro5hin’s own TheophileEscargot has his own guide, The Fat Bloke’s Guide to Becoming Less Fat, dedicated to proving that even the idle can become thinner. If he can do it, anyone can! I really need to start going to the gym again. I’ve been getting really lazy lately. Since I’ve been working at home, I spend way too much time in front of the computer and I’m not getting enough exercise. I feel really out of shape now
