More Buzzards

The same buzzards I saw yesterday are still sitting in the same spot. Someone told me he saw 30 of them earlier today. He thinks the unusually cold weather killed some of the huge iguanas that live on the island, so they’re feeding on it.

  1. Mike, if you are in the USA, those "buzzards" are called vultures and they are probably Turkey Vultures. True buzzards are hawks.

  2. When we first saw them Sunday, a few of my neighbors were discussing it and someone (who we all assumed knew) told us they were buzzards & it stuck.
