First Drupal to WordPress migration tests

I’ve started testing the Drupal to WordPress migration using a local copy on my Mac. Using D’arcy Norman’s script as a starting point, I was able to convert most of the content. I still have a lot to clean up. Once I work out some of the problems, I’ll set up a test site for MacMegasite.

  1. cool! glad the script worked out for you. you might want to poke through some of the converted posts – I’m still finding the occasional borked characters (mostly smart quotes that got imported as munged unicode characters). Nothing fatal, and definitely worth migrating, but still a little annoying finding these 18 months after migrating :-)
